Where do we practice and play home games? 

Practice takes place at our field located at 12100 90th Ave, Seminole, FL.

Home games take place on main football field and away games at our opponents field.

 

When and where is registration? 

Registration takes place in the main board room at the field.  We annually start registration in March. Specific dates for registration dates are listed under the registration section.


When is the first day of the Fall 2016 season? 

First day of the 2017 season is July 10, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. for tackle football and cheer.  Flag football practice start date generally starts two weeks after tackle football.  More specific date will be listed as registration begins.  ​

 

How do I find out if practice is cancelled? 

Notification will be through our Seminole Chiefs app is through Team App available for download for IPhones and Android devices.

What equipment does the league supply?

For tackle football the league supplies game pants, game jersey, socks, helmet, shoulder pads and mouth piece.  You will need to provide practice pants, pads for pants, practice jersey, girdle, and non-metal cleats.  For cheer, the league provides uniforms including shoes.  Flag football the league provides uniform, flags, and mouth piece.  You will need to provide non-metal cleats.

 

Where do I purchase items? 

You can purchase items at Allens Sporting Goods, Play it Again Sports, Sports Authority or Dicks Sporting Goods.

 

When will I know what team my child is on? 

After the first two weeks of practice of tackle football teams will be divided.  The varsity coach will pick his team and if permitted the JV coaches will have a draft.  Cheer is determined by age.

Flag football teams are determined the first couple days.

 

How many days a week will my child have to be at practice? 

Football initially practices 4-5 days a week during the summer. Once school begins you coach will determine your days of practice normally 3-4 days per week.   Cheer is normally 2-3 days per week except when preparing for competition.  Again, your coach will dictate your practice schedule.

Flag practices 2 days per week.

 

When will my child receive his / her uniform? 

Your child will received their uniform prior to the 1st game.  Uniforms have to be ordered once everyone is registered.

 

When does Flag practice begin? 

Flag practice beings in mid August.  Specific date is TBD.

 

What happens if I cannot make my shift for Concession, Spirit Shop, Gate?

If you do not show up for your shift or cover your shift your child will sit out one quarter of the next game, no exceptions”  The Seminole chiefs are solely run by volunteers and we need you help to make it a success for the children.
